About Us

Dr. Mark Just

Dr. Mark Just received his B.S. degree from Canadian Union College before graduating with a DDS from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where he graduated in the top 25 students in his class. Dr. Just is a member of the American Dental Association, a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Alaska Dental Society, the Anchorage Dental Association, and the Organization of North American Seventh Day Adventist Dentists. He prides himself on providing the highest quality dental treatment and continues to pursue training in dental advances in dentistry. At the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, he trained with hands-on experience in root canal therapy. Dr. Just enjoys helping his patients achieve their smile goals and the accompanying lifestyle benefits of a healthy, gorgeous smile.
Away from the office, Dr. Just enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys the great outdoors by mountain biking, hiking, golfing, and playing hockey. Dr. Just feels a unique kinship with Alaska and enjoys her many offerings.

Meet the Team

Monica Douthit, Dental Hygienist

Since graduating from University of Alaska, Anchorage with honors in 2004, Monica has worked in our office as a registered dental hygienist. She holds membership in the American Dental Hygiene Association and enjoys working in Dr. Just's high-tech office. Monica enjoys, "…meeting all the colorful characters of Alaska and helping them achieve optimal oral health." Hiking, fishing, swimming and making stained glass keep her busy on the weekends. She and her husband have two sons, two black Labs, and one fat cat.

Brynn Hart, Dental Hygienist

Brynn has an associate's degree of applied sciences in dental hygiene. She graduated from University of Alaska, Anchorage in 2007 as a UA Scholar and the ASDHA Scholarship Recipient. Brynn holds membership in the American Dental Hygiene Association, Cook Inlet Dental Hygiene Association, and the Alaska State Dental Hygiene Association, where she is a delegate. She enjoys, "The small setting with a gentle touch that makes people feel welcomed and comfortable." Brynn also enjoys collaborating with Dr. Just and his team because she always seems to learn something new. "Each day brings a new opportunity," she says. After hours, Brynn likes to camp, fish, and hike. She also cross-country and downhill skis, runs, swims, and enjoys reading.

Jennifer Hawkins, Financial Coordinator

For three years, Jennifer has worked in our front office as the financial coordinator. She thinks, "Everyone here is awesome. It's like coming to work with your family." Her favorite part of being on our team is working with our wonderful patients. After hours, Jennifer enjoys traveling and shopping.

 

Heidi Rivera, Scheduling Coordinator

Heidi has been in dentistry for ten years, three of which she's served our patients. She graduated from the Cuyahoga Community College's dental assisting program and has enjoyed working chairside ever since. Heidi thrives in our strong team atmosphere, and she loves helping patients enjoy dental visits. Away from the office, Heidi is a mother of four: two boys and two girls, all teenagers. She likes shopping, dining, and spending time with her kids (and their friends!).

Tiffany Mamae, Dental Assistant

A chairside dental assistant, Tiffany has worked with Dr. Just for a few years. She particularly likes the office's family atmosphere, her great coworkers, and her great boss. The variety of her position allows her to see many diverse procedures, as well as many different faces. At home, Tiffany is married and has four children, a rabbit, and a three-legged cat. Her artistic side enjoys oil painting and karaoke, and the mom in her loves taking the kids to their activities all over the city.
